Every League Worth Watching, in One Place

Open a club page on World Football Portal and you will see one thing first: the league it belongs to. That tiny header carries a great deal of weight, because the league is the unit of football that fans actually live by. You do not wake up and follow a single player for ninety minutes; you wake up and follow a league for nine months. The League Table hub is built around that simple truth. It brings together every major competition we cover, every week of the season, in a form that updates faster than the broadcast you are watching.

This page is your guided tour. It lists the leagues we follow, explains what you will find on each league page, and shows you how to plug the live table into your own watching, fantasy or journalism routine. Read it once and you will never bounce between five apps to follow five leagues again.

The Leagues We Follow

World Football Portal covers roughly forty senior leagues across six confederations, from the global headline competitions to the second-tier European leagues that produce the next generation of stars.

At the top tier we follow Europe’s Big Five: the Premier League (England), La Liga (Spain), Bundesliga (Germany), Serie A (Italy) and Ligue 1 (France). Each is covered with full live data, advanced metrics, and editorial previews for every match day.

Beyond the Big Five we follow Liga Portugal, Eredivisie (Netherlands), Turkish Süper Lig, Belgian Pro League, Scottish Premiership, Russian Premier Liga, Greek Super League, Ukrainian Premier League, the Czech, Polish, Swiss, Austrian, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Croatian top flights, plus the Spanish and English second divisions.

In the Americas we track MLS and Liga MX, plus the Brasileirão Série A, the Argentine Primera División, the Primera División de Chile, the Liga Profesional de Colombia, the Primera División de Uruguay and the leading Caribbean leagues. In Asia we cover the J1 League (Japan), K League 1 (South Korea), the Chinese Super League and the Saudi Pro League; in Africa, the Egyptian Premier League, the South African PSL and the Moroccan Botola; in Oceania, the A-League. The combined fixture calendar covers more than 12,000 matches per season.

Live Standings, Done Right

Every league page opens with the live standings table, sorted by points and tied-breakable on goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head and, where the league specifies it, away goals. You can re-sort by expected goal difference, home form, away form or form over the last five matches. A click on any team opens its dedicated club page with squad, fixtures and statistics.

A second tab shows the form table, where every team is reset to zero points as if the season started today. The form table is, in our experience, the best single predictor of end-of-season movement, because it strips out the noise of early-season over- and under-performance and surfaces the teams whose underlying numbers are genuinely improving. Bookmakers pay close attention to the form table; so should you.

Top Scorers and Assist Kings

On the right rail of every league page sits the Golden Boot race and the Playmaker race (assists). Filters separate penalties from open-play goals, isolate set-piece contributions, and weight minutes played so a squad player who scores every 200 minutes is not buried under a striker who scores every 90 from the spot.

You can also switch to a goals per 90 view, a xG per 90 view or a shot-creating actions view. Each metric carries a short explainer; if you have never met xG before, the page links to a five-minute primer that explains what the number means and what it leaves out.

Fixture View, Week by Week

Every league has its own fixture page, drawn directly from the federation’s calendar and updated within minutes of any postponement. The default view is the Matchweek layout: a horizontal row of fixtures for the current round, kickoff times in your local zone, and a confidence meter that estimates the probability of a home win, draw or away win according to our power index.

Switch to the Season view to see the full grid: every team as a row, every matchweek as a column, colour-coded for win, draw and loss. This is the view coaches use to plan around fixture congestion, journalists use to spot title-race momentum shifts, and fans use to plan their autumn weekends.

The News Feed, Plugged Into the Standings

Beneath the table sits the league’s news feed: transfers, injuries, suspensions, disciplinary rulings, manager press conferences and editorial previews for every round. Each item carries a timestamp, a byline where one exists, and a link back to the player, club or competition it concerns. The feed is filtered so you see only items relevant to the league you are viewing — no cross-league noise.

For fans who want to go deeper, the same feed can be filtered by topic: transfer rumours, injury updates, tactical analysis, referee decisions, club statements. Each topic has its own editorial lead who curates the items and writes a weekly digest published every Monday morning in the league’s local time zone.

Bookmark Once, Follow All Season

Pick your league, star it, and the live standings will pin to your dashboard for the rest of the campaign. Add the second-tier competitions you care about, drop the ones you do not, and your World Football Portal becomes a single, calm window onto world football — from Friday night in Recife to Monday night in Rotterdam, from the opening day of the season to the final relegation six-pointer in May. That is the promise of the League Table hub, and that is why we built it.
